My free Parisian summer guide: other festivals and events

Published: Updated:

This is the 3rd and final part of my guide on free events to enjoy this summer if you are staying in (or visiting) the capital. Once again, it is the perfect opportunity to prove to you that staying in Paris during the summer is not necessarily a punishment.

This last section will be dedicated to other events and festivals that I didn’t get a chance to mention in the previous 2 articles.

Paris quartier d’été

Paris Quartier d'Été Festival 2013 poster, July 14 - August 11.

The 24th edition of the Paris Quartier d’été festival will take place from July 14 to August 11, 2013, bringing its touch of summer madness to the capital and its outskirts.

Some of the programming requires a ticket; however, many shows are free. The best thing is to take a close look at the events of this festival.

Because everything doesn’t just happen in Paris, on July 31, the festival is moving to Pantin for 3 very different shows from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m.
