The summer sales will take place this year from Wednesday, June 24th to Wednesday, August 4th, 2015. It is, of course, the perfect opportunity to stock up on new clothes for the summer season (which is already well underway given this heat…). So, in that context, you might as well pay less!
In keeping with my tradition of thematic articles, here is my small selection of tips to remember for these sales.

Shopping the sales in France’s largest fashion and luxury outlet
To stack up the discounts, the best tip is to head to the premium outlet in the Paris region during the sales: One Nation Paris.
Since the outlet concept is to normally offer previous year’s collections at a minimum of 30% off, you can imagine that the trip is well worth it.

Chictypes

Shopping the sales on your smartphone
Apparently, more and more of us are shopping the sales from our smartphones or tablets…
It’s a great opportunity to rediscover Shopstyle, the social shopping platform dedicated to fashion, beauty, and design that now lists nearly 7,000 brands.
The little extra: thanks to a Wishlist, you can save your favorite items.

FidMe geolocates the sales
Not to be overlooked for the current shopping marathon, FidMe is a shopping app that allows you to collect your loyalty cards (barcodes and stamps) on your mobile, so you always have them with you at the right time and can lighten your wallet.
You can even geolocate coupons offered by stores around you on a map. Plus, notifications alert you to new offers.

To help us shop smart, Lara Le Joncour gives us her useful advice to make the most of these 5 weeks of discounts and redo our wardrobe for less, without stress and without wasting hours in the stores.
Here are the 6 rules to be a savvy shopper:
- Scout ahead of time
- Wear a combat outfit (the goal is to be able to try on as many clothes as possible in a minimum of time) and above all, comfortable shoes
- Opt for no makeup; it will avoid bad taste mistakes
- Follow your heart; if you hesitate for a long time over that sequined dress, above all, resist and don’t buy it! It has a 100% chance of ending up abandoned at the back of your closet…
- Don’t buy just because it’s on sale
- Make a list of what you need; this will keep you from always buying the same thing
All that’s left is for me to wish you all happy shopping!
