Anne Roumanoff, Let’s Love One Another

After a triumphant tour and radio and television appearances that were highly appreciated by the public, Anne Roumanoff returns to us in a new show Let’s Poster for the Anne Roumanoff show "Let's love one another" at L'Olympia.love one another.

If I’m telling you about this event, it’s because it’s unique. In fact, on Monday, February 2, 2015 at 8 p.m., the comedian preferred by the French will present her brand new show in a one-off performance at the Olympia in Paris. And to allow a large audience to enjoy it, this show will be broadcast live in over 100 cinemas (chains and independent) across France, as well as in Belgium and Switzerland.

The story:

Anne Roumanoff takes an uncompromising look at French society. It covers topics like gay marriage, a woman suffering from administrative phobia, an American woman criticizing French pessimism, a National Front municipal councilor, and many other colorful characters.

Note:

12 sketches guaranteed to be 100% new! This unprecedented show promises a unique and privileged moment to share, because it is the first time a comedian has reserved the premiere of a new show for cinema halls.

Tango Pasion

This show had so much success in 2013 in France (acclaimed by the press and the public) that it returned on January 13 of this new year, and has settled in the

capital at Bobino specifically until February 8.

Since 1992, the year of its creation, Tango Pasion has enjoyed great success worldwide. This show is performed by 6 couples of tangueros, among the best in the world, and has been directed since 2004 by Osvaldo Ciliento.

Tango Pasion traces the fascinating history of Argentine tango, from the decadent and smoky suburbs of the 40s to the interpretation of the salons.

Cathy’s opinion:

It’s a sublime show. But I’ll be honest, it still took me a good few minutes to enter their universe for the simple reason that I was expecting a story, a bit like a musical comedy.

Once I understood how the show worked, I really enjoyed it. As a result, the second part was pure bliss. I’m very happy to have seen it to tell you about it and introduce it to you.

Richard III

For this 3rd show, we are changing universes radically. And that doesn’t displease me at all. There is nothing like getting cultured while having a good time. I invite you into the world of William Shakespeare, nothing less than that!

Richard III poster based on William Shakespeare.

The story:

Shakespeare demonstrates in his play the hero’s strategies to accede to power. Richard III becomes an image of excessive evil, a Machiavellian Prince without faith or law.

Actor in Richard III, fur coat, dark scene.La compagnie Nova, which performs Richard III, has re-translated and adapted the play to reveal both the monstrosity and the great theatricality of the famous English playwright. The scenes of the first 3 acts recount the rise to power of the monster Richard, his art of seduction and gaming.

He dons a thousand masks, from the seducer to the pious man, from the confident friend to the empathetic confidant. That is his monstrosity, far beyond his physical deformity. These scenes unfold with time and the pleasure of excessive acting, up to the Machiavellian coronation at the end of Act III.

Les Afters Co young talents

We are going to continue with classical authors, but this time with Molière for the first meeting of the Afters Co of the year 2015. As before, the After Co, for this evening aimed at 20-35 year olds, revisits a theater classic with Tartuffe or the Imposter by Molière.

This monument of French literature is presented in a new way with the eye of the young collective A VRAI DIRE, which manages to combine contemporary direction with the classicism of the 17th century.

Talents from all backgrounds (professional or semi-professional) and all disciplines (readings, mime, concert, theater, improvisation…) present their creations, take ownership of the space, draw inspiration from it, and give free rein to their creativity.

Chosen for their boldness and energy, the After Co artists are invited to engage with the venues and their history, and to express themselves on their work process through the blog Questions d’Artistes.
