Oh! Netherlands in the streets of Paris and at the Atelier Néerlandais

In the afternoon, a brass ensemble from the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra will perform in the streets of the capital.

In the evening, The Mysterons will provide the opening act for Jungle By Night in the courtyard of the Atelier Néerlandais. The former, five talented Dutch musicians, offer music that blends the psychedelia of the sixties with Asian and specifically Indian influences.

As for the nine guys who make up Jungle By Night, they are breathing a breath of fresh air into the afrobeat scene. Worthy heirs to Fela Kuti’s music, and endorsed by the legendary Tony Allen, they combine flavors of jazz, African funk, psychedelic rock, and hip-hop.
