The 2012 Honey Festival will take place, as is tradition, on Saturday, October 13th and Sunday, October 14th at Parc Georges Brassens.

It is organized every year in early October at the Parc Georges Brassens in partnership with the Paris City Hall and the 15th arrondissement City Hall, in collaboration with the Parc Georges Brassens association and with the assistance of the Parks and Gardens Department.

Each year, the beekeeping association awaits you for:

  • activities at the apiary,
  • an exhibition at the main entrance of the Park,
  • honey sales.

Dear Parisians, come in large numbers to Parc Georges Brassens to discover these honeys, produced in the heart of Paris, which preserve all the scents of the beautiful season’s flowers in their aromas.

Note that this year in our apiaries, as in all of the Île-de-France region, the harvests are very low due to the poor weather conditions in the spring and early summer.

All the association’s volunteers will welcome you and explain the difficulties encountered this year by the bees in gathering the nectars that make Paris honey so unique.
