From July 14th to August 11th, 2012, the Paris Quartier d’Été festival takes over the capital and its nearby suburbs for its 23rd edition.

On the program for this multidisciplinary festival, mostly taking place outdoors, are paid performances, but also a free schedule!

With over 150 performances, circus, music, dance, and theater will be in the spotlight during these 4 weeks of shows.

Below is a small selection of free events that caught my attention (note that many free shows and concerts will take place for July 14th!).

  • The Extra Bal to go dancing (free only on July 17th)
  • Theater with Le Shaga, by Marguerite Duras, performed by Claire Deluca and Jean-Marie Lehec (free with reservation)
