The 2016 Wine Fair

When it comes to wines, one of the best tips of the year remains the traditional Wine Fair, which sets up shop in supermarkets across France during the month of September.

It is the perfect opportunity to stock up on bottles at low prices, but also to discover a wonderful selection of vineyards. You know my passion and love for wine and for the sharing that comes with consuming this drink, so you won’t be surprised that I’m talking about it here.

Carrefour Wine Fair 2016

Regarding dates, the Carrefour Wine Fair will take place from September 28th to October 10th, 2016 in the Hypermarkets, from September 16th to October 2nd, 2016 in the Markets, and from September 12th to 25th, 2016 for pre-orders.

It will present a total of over 1450 references (1000 for the hypermarkets and 450 for Market) and for the second time, each chain will present its own specific Wine Fair adapted to the clientele of the different stores.

Honestly, having tasted a few of these wines in preview (including Carole Bouquet‘s for example), I can tell you that the quality/price ratio is well worth the trip! It is primarily an opportunity to fill your cellar at a lower cost with very interesting bottles.
