Just like last year, here is a short article to tell you about the FIAC Hors les Murs, which has returned to the Jardin des Plantes for the second consecutive year, running from October 12 until November 19, 2012, featuring a unique trail through the gardens and galleries of the Museum.

On the agenda: 23 galleries and 28 works on display, including pieces by Jean Tinguely, On Kawara, Mark Dion, and a series of lectures bringing together artists, philosophers, and scientists to explore the links between art and science.

The major new feature of this 2012 tour is the introduction of performances, including “One Million Years” by On Kawara, and a free cultural mediation service provided by École du Louvre students from October 16 to 21.

The works occupy both outdoor and indoor spaces: the Jardin des Plantes as well as Museum areas such as the Menagerie, the Great Greenhouses, the Gallery of Paleontology, and the Grande Galerie de l’Évolution.
