To wrap up this year and because I love putting together my cinematic review for the past year, I decided, in this first year of the blog, to share with you my favorite films released in French theaters in 2011.

Not to mention that this year was quite special for me, as I experienced my first Cannes Film Festival, and some of the films that left a mark on me during the competition haven’t been released in France yet (I will therefore include them in next year’s review).

So, I’m revealing the 10 films of 2011 that particularly moved me among the fifty or so movies I saw at the cinema this year.

1 – Polisse
