This Friday, April 13, 2012 at the Trocadéro in Paris, we will be celebrating the Green Night (Nuit Verte).
On this occasion, 12 oases will be lit up in the Trocadéro gardens to explain how and why water is used by farmers. As a major challenge for humanity, involving food, environmental, economic, and social stakes, water will take center stage during the Green Night.
Organized by the Fnsea, this event will bring together more than a thousand farmers from the 12 departments of the Northern Paris Basin, who will set up in the Trocadéro gardens to talk with the public.
Spectators will be treated to a nighttime trail that is as surprising as it is delicious, where grass replaces pavement…
Shows, activities, and buffets will bring the night to life, awakening the senses and minds of visitors.
On the program:
- 12 educational stops showcasing regional colors with 12 themed oases on water and agriculture
