This week is definitely packed with events! From Monday, May 14th through Sunday, May 20th, 2012, we are celebrating that iconic French staple: bread.
Indeed, the Bread Festival has been around since 1996 and offers the chance to go all over France to meet bakers and discover their craft through cooking classes, workshops, tastings, and events in bakeries and shops.
Mademoiselle Bon Plan’s little selection in Paris:
- Moulinex is offering a 3-hour baking class on Sunday, May 20th at 9:30 AM with Frédéric Lalos, Meilleur Ouvrier de France, featuring La Fournée, the newest Moulinex bread maker. To participate, you must sign up by sending an email to coursdeboulange@moulinex.fr (please note, spots are limited). The class will be held at Le Quartier du Pain, 104 Rue du Point du Jour, 92100 Boulogne Billancourt.
- Bakers from Réunion Island are gathering from May 16th to 21st on the forecourt of the Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris and will be offering numerous free activities.
