From May 15th to June 12th, 2012, the Publicis Drugstore on the Champs Elysées in Paris is shifting to American time, inviting the public to cross the Atlantic for an unprecedented cinematic, literary, and culinary experience.
Cult Cinema:
Dive into Hollywood cinema with the cult cinema series, which aims to revive the fantastic horror genre in partnership with Cahiers du Cinéma. The program features three evenings where the public can get spooked by great classics (tickets to be won for these evenings on the Publicis Drugstore FB page).

- Thursday, May 24th: Drugstore Cowboy (1990) by Gus Van Sant and Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas (1998) by Terry Gilliam
- Thursday, May 31st: Carrie (1976) by Brian De Palma and Christine (1983) by John Carpenter
Champs-Elysées Film Festival:
The month of June will see the birth of a new Parisian festival: the Champs-Elysées Film Festival, which will mobilize several venues in the 8th arrondissement, including the Publicis. In addition to screenings of the films in competition, it will host several major highlights of the event.
- Wednesday, June 6th: tribute to Harvey Weinstein and a retrospective of his films during the festival
- Saturday, June 9th: tribute to Donald Sutherland in his presence, and screening of Klute
- Tuesday, June 12th: closing ceremony with the presentation of the Audience Award
Literature:
A signing session with the famous American author Douglas Kennedy (The Big Picture, The Pursuit of Happiness) will take place at the Publicis Drugstore bookstore to mark the release of his latest book, The Woman in the Fifth.

Tastings:
The Drugstore is offering a tasting of Chardonnay and Zinfandel from Francis Ford Coppola‘s vineyard in California.
