This year, September 22nd and 23rd, 2018 is when Culture au Quai will take place. This event provides an opportunity, over the course of a weekend, to meet all kinds of audiences.
For this 11th edition, more than 200 cultural actors from the Paris region (theaters, museums, concert halls, heritage sites…) will present their venues and programming for the upcoming season all along the Quai de Loire.
This major entirely free event dedicates an entire weekend to cultural outings: shows, exhibitions, dance, concerts, or cinema—there will be plenty to choose from to plan all your outings for the year!
On the program: 200 cultural venues, 170 free 30-minute activities will follow one another on 8 stages, running continuously throughout the weekend.
Culture au Quai welcomes many exhibitors again this year, such as: The Centre National de la Danse, the Musée du Louvre, la maison rouge, the Camille Claudel Museum, La Cinémathèque Française, Cultura, the Théâtre de l’Odéon, La Villette, the Pavillon des Canaux, Radio France,…
Not to be missed:
- The dance marathon: introductions to all kinds of dance, stage performances by dancers, ballroom dancing, and clubbing at the end of the day.
- The World Cultures Plaza
- Several dance shows: Saïdo le Louh & Cie Black Sheep; Ousmane Sy & Cie Paradoxal
