Launched in France in 1982, the Fête de la musique, which has become a global event, is orchestrated every June 21st for the summer solstice in more than 110 countries, including about twenty in Europe.
Lucky us this year, the big day falls on a Saturday, exactly one week from now, so there’s no excuse not to celebrate music next weekend! It’s the perfect opportunity to spend a wonderful evening and enjoy it until the end of the night.
MelleBonPlan’s little selection for Paris:
- Ricard S.A. Live Music is teaming up once again with the Fair and invites all music discovery lovers to Place Denfert-Rochereau for the Fête de la Musique!
Taking the stage will be some of the most promising French bands of their generation, all laureates of the Fair, the premier support program for career launches and professionalization in contemporary music, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year.
This year, it will be the turn of Pendentif, Rocky, Odezenne, and Griefjoy to heat things up this Saturday night.
And for this Fair anniversary, exceptionally, a fifth group (to be announced soon) will join the lineup for this event, which has become a staple of the Fête de la Musique since its creation in 1990!

- This year, Musiques en Terrasse at Bercy Village kicks off for an energetic Fête de la Musique on Saturday, June 21st starting at 6:30 PM, under the banner of cultural fusion and good vibes.
As the recurring artist for the program, Provençal singer Sam Karpienia will kick off the evening as a duo with his songs featuring electro and Occitan accents.
Next up is the pop songwriting of David Lafore and finally, in honor of the host country of the 2014 World Cup, the festive samba of Clube Cajuina, which will make the Cour Saint-Emilion dance in the colors of Brazil.

- For the Fête de la Musique, the ephemeral gallery Soixantedix & Friends, set up in the 400 square meters of the Espace Morin, invites you to come and share a moment of relaxation and art.
On the program: musicians will take part in the exhibition from 1:00 PM to 11:00 PM, and throughout the day, acoustic concerts, garage rock, and electronic music will give a multidisciplinary feel to this event. And in the evening, we’ll break out the vinyl records to enjoy the last of the sunshine.
For the occasion, a relaxation area with a bar and ping-pong table will also be set up.
