The Ici & Demain Festival, which has been inviting around a hundred student artists from the Paris region to take the stage and present their creations since 2004, will be held in Paris starting tonight through March 22, 2012.
The event invites the public to discover an eclectic panorama of 35 free events, featuring performances, short film screenings, concerts, exhibitions, theater, and even the circus!
As a little bonus, here is my selection of the festival’s highlights:
- Opening Night at the Espace Pierre Cardin: Carte Blanche to the Ecole Estienne. Tonight, Thursday, March 8, starting at 7:00 PM.
- Weekend at the Point Ephémère from Friday the 9th to Sunday, March 11: concerts, performances, exhibitions, theater.
- Short Film Night at the Forum des Images, March 13, starting at 7:30 PM.
- The circus joins the menu with a carte blanche performance by the Académie Fratellini on Wednesday, March 21 at 7:00 PM at the Dalle aux chapiteaux (20th arrondissement).
- Closing Night at the Centquatre with a participatory dance performance and a concert by Bhati Bliss to wrap up the fortnight in style on Thursday, March 22 at 9:30 PM.
