The 6th edition of the Nature Festival will be held this year from Wednesday, May 9th to Sunday, May 13th, 2012.
This means 5 days of free events in direct contact with nature will be offered to the public throughout France, in mainland areas and overseas, in cities as well as the countryside, and also in Switzerland, Portugal, and the Netherlands.

– The National Museum of Natural History in Paris is celebrating nature at the Jardin des Plantes through over 40 completely free workshops and activities on Saturday, May 12th and Sunday, May 13th.

– The Jardins du Ruisseau are hosting the Nature Festival on Saturday, May 12th, 2012, from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM. On the program: Plant swaps; seed distribution; massages; beekeeping stand and apiary discovery; biodiversity workshop.
– Oyster mushroom aperitif with a tour of France’s first mushroom farm inside a shipping container topped by a greenhouse.
– Organization of a shared brunch on Sunday, May 13th, from 12 PM to 3 PM at the garden on the roof of the Gymnase des Vignoles. Visitors are invited to bring a sweet or savory dish to share.
