This Tuesday, June 11, 2013, Crédit Agricole d’Ile-de-France, along with the communication agency multitouch armstrong, is launching a new Facebook application called “initiatives close to you” to highlight the initiatives and best tips from Parisians and those living in the region, while also helping to discover the area from a new perspective.
This application will allow you to discover or rediscover all the richness of the Île-de-France region through the talents of its residents. It will enable users to propose or vote for solidarity-based and participatory initiatives imagined by the locals.
The categories cover a wide range of talents in the fields of crafts, cooking, culture, family, high-tech, sports, and more.
Every week, a voting system will allow the public to elect their “crowd favorite” and thus discover actions that energize the region.
The winning project will be highlighted on social media and will benefit from increased visibility through a media plan and posts on the Crédit Agricole d’Ile-de-France Facebook page. Selected contributors will also be able to win “discovery” prizes: concert tickets, exhibition passes, etc.
Having been able to test this application in advance, I was won over by the selection of initiatives, which offer a great range of useful and sometimes little-known tips in Île-de-France.
A few examples of great tips found while browsing the app:
a free tour of Paris- discovering Paris architecture by bus
- a selection of cultural venues that can be enjoyed thanks to the RATP zone-free pass
- the Hauts-de-Seine Pass for students from 6th to 9th grade to help with leisure activities
- discovering local produce
In short, this application, which works thanks to the participation of users who share great tips from their region, is truly destined to become, for me and perhaps for you, a gold mine of information in this area.
I encourage you to head over today to the Crédit Agricole d’Ile-de-France Facebook page to propose and discover the first initiatives and participate in this beautiful collaborative project.
