Fairness dictates that if I want to do things right, as I write a special article every year for Mother’s Day, I owe it to myself to do the same for Father’s Day, otherwise I risk offending my male readers (gentlemen, now is the time to make yourselves known in the comments!).
In short, this year it is this Sunday, June 15th that we will all be able to show a little appreciation and love for our dads for Father’s Day.
So, here is my little selection of great deals and a few original gift ideas to make the most of this dads’ day!

Gift idea if your dad is a wine enthusiast: the Hubris Discovery Box Hubris that I have already told you about.
The concept is to receive 2 bottles selected by Hubris each month and to discover new wines accompanied by serving tips and recipes through a box.
The little extra: the subscription is very flexible because it can be taken as a single purchase or temporarily for 3, 6, or 12 months, which can be very practical for giving a gift according to your budget.

- Another idea if your father is a bit more of a dandy (which is not incompatible with a love for wine, right!): the “L’Òme” range by Durance, which means “the man” in Provençal, and which offers a collection of masculine grooming products with sea buckthorn, an active ingredient very rich in vitamins, minerals, and fatty acids.
_
- Another gift idea, why not offer a little cooking class, because no, this kind of gift is not reserved for women and more and more men particularly enjoy cooking, and I speak from experience because it is the kind of present I have already given to my father who is a fine cook.
I recently had the opportunity to discover a cooking class with Cook & Go in the workshop that just opened in the 11th arrondissement of Paris, near Bastille.
On the program: you learn how to make a menu on-site using chef techniques and you take it home to share (price from €29/person).

- To celebrate the Mystery of Dads, Diptyque (a brand whose candles I love) is offering a 12 ml Philosykos Eau de Toilette vaporizer for any order over €90 with the code FDPFR14 (offer valid until June 15, 2014).

- This year, Father’s Day will be sporty with Pascal Caffet, who has created a collection of chocolates inspired by the Football World Cup, with a beautiful and proud French Cocorico, entirely made of 40% pure Ivory Coast plantation milk chocolate.
Not forgetting all the essential football accessories with balls available in small and large models, and gourmet dark Venezuela 70% chocolate shoes filled with homemade old-fashioned Piedmont hazelnut praline (yum, I’m hungry just writing this).
_
- The Ateliers de la Souris Verte also offer workshops for men, featuring creations of beard balms for example—a fun and playful gift idea for dads who take care of themselves.
_
- A nice gift idea with the new bad ass collection from La Tamponneuse, a French artisan company specializing in stamps.
This collection of stamps with a brand new design represents the “bad asses” of cinema! Clint Eastwood in the famous The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, accompanied by no less essential references such as Al Pacino, Rambo, or even Bernard Minet from the Musclés with an “I Fuck Hilgueugueu” stamp.
The cult Goonies and Gremlins, which marked a whole generation in the 80s (including me!), also have their place among the new models. And they are joined by the latest bad ass to date, a current reference in the collection, Frank Underwood from the series House of Cards.
New collection stamp: €25 – Customizable stamp: €35 to €50

- The best of Italy in a box is the concept of Boxitalienne, a project born from the desire of Mickaël Zeppa, a young entrepreneur, to share his love for Italian gastronomy.
Officially launched last November, this box aims to take us on a journey every month to a different region of Italy through 5 to 6 high-end surprise products (gastronomy, drink, accessory, everyday object…) that are hard to find near you.
The package contains typically regional products, exclusively manufactured in Italy, and the whole thing is accompanied by descriptive sheets for each product, as well as recipes, tips, and anecdotes adapted to the products.
5 subscription plans are offered: for a nice little gift for your dad you can fall back on the monthly subscription (to test) at €29 or for 2 months at €58.

- A piece of jewelry can be an original idea for a man and the choice is vast on the Bijoux Chérie site. Plus, the prices remain more than reasonable.
The great deal: delivery is free starting at €60 and you are satisfied or refunded for your purchase.
_
- To treat your globetrotting dad, why not opt for the Weekendesk gift card? It is customizable, valid for one year on all the brand’s offers, and can be loaded according to your budget.
_
- An aperitif box, made of fresh and quality products. For now, Elise who launched her site, Enjoy Mon Apéro, a little while ago, offers her boxes to residents of the Val de Marne and little by little to those in the 12th arrondissement of Paris.
For Father’s Day, she is offering a new offer (with delivery on the day itself), composed of local products, as well as a good bottle of red wine (Côtes de Bourg, 2011 gold medalist), and an original card.
_
For Father’s Day, Chic Types, online men’s clothiers, offers its digital gift voucher for the amount of your choice for the occasion.
This gives access to a personalized selection of high-end brand clothing chosen by hand by a dedicated stylist (after creating a profile), from which the lucky recipient keeps only what they like. Plus, delivery, returns, and stylist advice are free!
_
- Until June 15, find exclusive Father’s Day offers at One Nation Paris, notably on Saturday, June 14, from 2 pm to 6 pm, a free workshop for children, special Keith Haring, so they can offer their dad a unique, totally contemporary, and creative canvas.

It only remains for me to wish a happy Father’s Day to all dads (I stopped counting how many times I wrote this word in the article) and particularly to my own.
Indeed, the place is well chosen for a little declaration and as sometimes a little picture is worth more than a long speech, I let the latter speak for me to my beloved father (wait, I hadn’t used that one yet…). He should easily recognize himself, I only have two…
