Goat cheeses are opening a pop-up shop and offering a must-see free event in the heart of Paris from Friday, May 31 to Sunday, June 2, 2013.
The National Interprofessional Goat Association (ANICAP) is taking over one of the most beautiful galleries on the Place des Vosges for a weekend to help the public discover goat cheese: a large family with countless characters and multiple flavors.
On the program, thematic and fun workshops to explore all the facets of goat cheese:
- tastings to discover over twenty goat cheeses classified by region
- the little children’s workshop to learn everything about goats and their cheeses! An educational workshop for budding goat cheese lovers. Caroline Boquet, a graduate in sensory analysis, will explain all the steps of making a cheese and introduce young visitors to the different tastes of the cheeses
- culinary workshops “Everyone in the kitchen!” under the aegis of chef Emilie Lang, in the form of culinary variations (bites, verrines…) to create and enjoy with your fingertips. Ratatouille revisited with Banon, zucchini cylinders stuffed with aged log goat cheese, strawberry, honey, and rosemary skewers with Chavignol… A gourmet invitation to show that goat cheeses are easy to cook with original and tasty recipes
- the concept store, a space dedicated to sales to go even further in discovering goat cheeses
