Here is one of my favorite religious holidays of the year. Because yes, I love the tradition of egg hunts that normally take place during this Easter season. Easter Sunday falls on April 17th this year in 2022, which makes for a 3-day weekend with the following bank holiday Monday. So let it rain chocolate, again and again!
During this Easter season, egg hunts are organized differently depending on the country: in France and Belgium, the bells bring the Easter eggs, while in Germany and Austria, it’s the bunnies that bring the eggs. As for the little English children, they go from house to house to find the eggs themselves. This year in this special Easter Tips article, we will talk about my beautiful selection of Easter chocolates, but also about events related to Easter, such as the traditional egg hunts which can finally take place again in 2022.

Bercy Village organizes an egg hunt
During the traditional hunt organized by Bercy Village, participants will have to find 10 colored eggs hidden in the shop windows of Bercy Village and indicate their location on a digital platform specifically designed for the occasion. Accessible from a smartphone via a QR code, the digital game allows children to find their way during their exploration and to indicate the locations where the eggs have been hidden.
At the end of this quest, the children will leave with Lindt chocolate bunnies from the shop recently opened in Bercy Village. The mascot ‘Lapin Câlin’ will be present during the day to give out lots of hugs and accompany children on their egg hunt.

Hens, chicks, and little birdies sipping a “cococktail” while Fleet the fox tries to be a party pooper. Always made with Grand Cru cocoa, this funky collection is also a treat for gourmets.

The Puyricard Chocolate Factory is a family-run, artisanal business located in the small Provençal village of Puyricard. Like every year, the brand offers its Easter collection, ranging from moldings and fried chocolates to small eggs.
Maison Puyricard honors the spring season in its Easter collection, and this year’s creations evoke the mimosa of Provence. The mimosa eggs are molded entirely by hand by Puyricard Master Chocolatiers, and the small yellow dots are made by hand using a tool created specifically for the occasion by their teams.
