European Heritage Days 2019

by Melle Bon Plan
Published: Updated:

I share many events on the blog, but if there is one that I particularly love, it is the European Heritage Days, organized by the Ministry of Culture and Communication.

This year, these 36th Heritage Days will take place next weekend, from Saturday, September 21st to Sunday, September 22nd, 2019, and will have the theme “Arts and Entertainment”.

Melle Bon Plan’s Parisian and Ile-de-France selection:

As for me, by a stroke of luck, I will be in Paris for these Heritage Days for once, so I’ll be able to enjoy them for the first time in a few years!

For the 2019 edition of the European Heritage Days, the Palais de la Porte Dorée reveals itself in unexpected ways with a selection of artistic, historical, narrated, and even… psychoanalytical tours! Guided by the directors of the Palais, the Museum, and the Aquarium who bring the place to life every day, or “un-guided” by actor Bertrand Bossart and his new-style tour, both young and old are invited to explore the Palais from the basement to the attic.

These European Heritage Days will also be an opportunity to get some height on the roof of the Palais and enjoy a panoramic view over all of eastern Paris.
