At the beginning of October, the Day of Little Pleasures makes its big comeback for a 7th edition in 6 major cities in France: Paris – Lyon – Marseille – Nantes – Bordeaux – Lille.
Indeed, this Friday, October 3, 2014, will be a special day dedicated to sweetness, sharing, and commitment.
Supported by a coalition of food lovers, under the guidance of a “delicious” President, Émile Bonbek, the UNPP, or “National Union of Little Pleasures,” continues, just over a year after its creation, the ambition to rally a majority of citizens behind a single cause: the right to little pleasures.
That Friday, numerous cargo bikes, loaded with confectionery and decked out in the colors of the Little Pleasures, will roam the streets of the biggest cities in France in search of food lovers who wish to enjoy these sweet little pleasures. In return, they will have to commit to making the daily life of one of their loved ones a little sweeter…
The “Little Pleasures Commitments” operation also continues on Facebook! Supporters of the Little Pleasures will have until November 3 to provide proof of their commitment being fulfilled by posting a photo or video for a chance to have their little pleasure funded up to €500 by garnering the most “likes.”
In Paris, the cargo bikes will be waiting for you:
- from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM: St Lazare (Pl. Gabriel Péri) / Madeleine / Hôtel de Ville / Rennes
- from 1:15 PM to 2:45 PM: St Lazare (Fnac) / 4 septembre / Saint Paul / Boulevard Montparnasse
- from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM: Provence (Citadium) / Opéra / Bastille / Parvis Gare Montparnasse
- from 5:45 PM to 7:30 PM: Trinité Estienne d’Orve / Bourse / Gare de Lyon / Denfert Rochereau
