The Bus Burger is a new dining concept with a bus converted into a 50s-style American diner (33 seats), which travels through the streets of the capital, passing by the most beautiful monuments and squares of Paris.
The City Tour of the Bus Burger, which lets you discover historic Paris, lasts 1 hour and 30 minutes with a route around the Ile de la Cité, along the Seine, passing by Notre-Dame, the Eiffel Tower, the Arc de Triomphe, the Conciergerie… A quick photo stop is even planned at the Trocadéro.

The principle of the Bus Burger is simple: you book online for a little culinary ride from Tuesday to Saturday (2 services, one at lunch and one at dinner), then you go to the meeting point on the day itself (make sure to be on time!).
On your plate, you will find burgers served at your table, with meat of Charolais origin and buns made by “Grains de Créateurs,” which gives us a 100% French burger, a detail dear to the creators of the concept.
To taste:
- The French Cocotte burger, with chicken breast, cheddar, onion compote, tomato, lettuce, and Bus Burger sauce (€24).

- The French Cancan burger, with ground Charolais meat, cheddar, onion compote, tomato, lettuce, and Bus Burger sauce (€24).
- For those interested, there is also a Veggie burger with a plant-based patty (€24), but we didn’t test it.

- For dessert, the artisanal Italian ice creams are truly delicious (2 scoops €4.50); I recommend you try them!
My opinion: since the bus is obviously not equipped with a kitchen, the burgers are prepared beforehand and reheated on-site before being served, which, I find, makes them lose a bit of quality, but well, it’s hard to do otherwise…
The little extra: the bus is equipped with individual sockets to charge your smartphone and Wi-Fi access!

As a bonus, this concept was a good excuse to continue our new video format for the blog’s YouTube channel with 1-minute restaurant review videos.
Feel free to tell me what you think in the comments below or on my Mademoiselle Bon Plan YouTube channel!
Price: all burgers are served with potato churros and a drink (coke, Perrier, beer, orange juice, etc.), and the prices I specified next to the burgers include the meal and the City Tour, of course / desserts are extra between €3 and €4.90
Note: the Bus Burger can be privatized for all types of events for those interested…

Thanks to Bus Burger for this invitation.
Bus Burger Tuesday to Saturday at 12:30 PM or 8:00 PM 2 rue Jacquard 75011 Paris Edit of January 26, 2019: I just learned with sadness that the bus burger closed on January 1, 2019, because it is a diesel vehicle and diesels have been banned in Paris since the beginning of the year. So the bus is no longer allowed to drive in Paris since the start of this year...
