I tell you about it every year, because it’s one of those Parisian events that brings me the most joy. The Montmartre Grape Harvest Festival is back to enchant Paris from October 9th to 13th.
This beautiful autumn event highlights a neighborhood, its history, and its wine production through a festive and friendly occasion.
Sponsored this year by Nolwenn Leroy, this 2013 Grape Harvest Festival will be themed around Love and will offer a rich and varied program mixing music, spoken word, exhibitions, gastronomy, and, of course, oenology.
Melle Bon Plan’s small selection:
- The Taste Trail with 160 stands spread over 1400m2. Stop by square Nadar in particular to participate in the many free tastings offered by the event’s partners.
- The Taste School for adults and children.
- The performance tours, the Spirit of Montmartre, which I told you about before, will be cheaper for the occasion (with codes montmartrevendanges for €19 instead of €25 for adults and montmartreenfant for €12 instead of €15) because these will be the final performances.
- The closing show (free, subject to availability, of course) which will take place on October 13th from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM at La Cigale.
- The traditional non-marriage proposal ceremony.
- The unusual weddings / gourmet pairings evening at Trois Baudets on Thursday, October 10th from 7:30 PM to 9:00 PM, in partnership with the Aquitaine region.
