The Week of Taste will take place this year from October 14 to 20, 2013 throughout France, with the desire to pass on the values and pleasure of good food through culinary professions and taste education.
On the program for this beautiful event: taste workshops (led by chefs, some free, others paid), tables of taste (restaurants offering special menus at advantageous prices during the Week of Taste), taste lessons (organized in schools by culinary professionals), and various activities in markets or shops.

- Oyster tasting from Marennes d’Oleron and shrimp at the restaurant Au fil de la mer (7 rue De Levis, 75017 Paris) on October 19 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
- WineSitting and Victoire Finaz are offering mini tasting tours focused on the senses in WineSitting’s 3 Parisian wine cellars.
These mini tours, which will take place in 5 fun stages mixing wine, chocolate, and cooking, will be held from Tuesday, October 15 to Saturday, October 19, daily from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

- A culinary workshop with Olivier, the specialist in Parisian cuisine, on Thursday, October 17, from 7 p.m., featuring flavors of the 15th arrondissement at Ixina (98 avenue Félix Faure, 75015 Paris)
- Demonstration of tea infusion according to the Chinese Gong Fu Cha ceremony, depending on the various types of tea, at the boutique Thés & Chocolats (39 rue des Batignolles 75017 Paris) on October 16 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. and October 19 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
- Gourmet walk in the Stains garden city on Saturday, October 19, 2013, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. to discover the history of our region’s heritage through a guided tour of the garden city followed by a tasting of soup made from local vegetables, prepared specially for you by one of the garden city’s residents.

- Tasting of pure Provençal products every day from October 14 to 20: 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Première Pression Provence (37 rue de Lévis, 75017 Paris)
- A day dedicated to discovering culinary products at Château Sainte Roseline, with tastings of products such as honey, chocolate, olive oil, cheese, etc. Cellar tours and commented tastings of the vintages, oenological workshops, discovery workshops for children, and cooking classes.
