Free cooking classes at Paris markets

For several years now, Paris City Hall has been offering Parisians free cooking classes at the markets with a professional chef or home cook.

These classes take place during part of the year at various Parisian markets, and you can find all the dates, locations, and how to sign up on the Cuisine & Santé website.

Classes take place outdoors (it’s important to mention this, so as the nice weather returns, this activity becomes much more pleasant), and the chef is different each time, so the recipes vary as well. You will prepare a simple dish on-site using products from the market vendors, and you can then enjoy it at the stand.

Personally, I have tested this class several times already, and it is a truly friendly experience that I highly recommend!

Paris City Hall is now partnering with Rencontres Cuisine & Santé to offer a program of 36 classes in 2019, starting on April 13th.

In total, there will be 36 workshops lasting 1.5 hours, during which chefs and nutritionists explain the foundations of healthy and balanced cooking in an interactive and fun way, designed for everyone’s well-being and pleasure, without forgetting the “anti-waste” concept.
