I’ve already told you about it at length in a previous article, so you know that the Hard Rock Café in Paris is a place I really like. Firstly because you are always very well welcomed there, and secondly because I enjoy the relaxed, rock atmosphere of this spot.
Quick reminder, this establishment is well-entrenched in the Parisian landscape, as it has been reigning over the Grands Boulevards for about twenty years now. If you’ve never stepped inside, you must have walked past it dozens of times at least…
So, this new little visit had a goal (aside from filling our bellies…): to discover two new additions to the menu: the limited-edition Whiskey Burger for the month of September and the Local Burger, the Nathalie.

The Whiskey Burger at the Hard Rock Café
Throughout the month of September, the Hard Rock Cafe is featuring the Whiskey Burger on its menu. This limited-edition creation is the result of a contest launched by the brand for the kitchen staff of its restaurants in Europe.
The goal of this battle was to create an original burger recipe inspired by one of the iconic objects of the restaurant. And it was the Grill manager of the Hard Rock Café Brussels, Mihaita Agape, who won the challenge with his Whiskey Burger, inspired by the self-portrait made by Slash, one of the masterpieces exhibited in the Brussels restaurant.
This Whiskey Burger is made of a beef patty marinated and glazed in Whiskey, topped with a slice of Monterey Jack cheese, crispy bacon, and Whiskey-marinated fried onions. It is obviously served with fries and a homemade mayonnaise.
Price: €18.45 / available until September 30, 2015

The Local Burger: The Nathalie
While the restaurant menu is identical across the 151 Hard Rock Cafés spread over 62 countries worldwide, the Burger is an exception with a unique recipe for each restaurant: the Local Burger.
The Local Burger at the Hard Rock Café Paris goes by the sweet name of Nathalie, in tribute to the longest-serving waitress at the Hard Rock Café Paris who has been working there since the very first day it opened!
It is mainly composed of products reflecting the codes of French gastronomy; the traditional bun is replaced by two slices of country bread with cereals toasted in butter, with two minced beef patties, melted Cantal cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, and fried onions. It is also served with fries and a homemade mayonnaise.
As usual at the Hard Rock Café, it doesn’t go for finesse, it isn’t light, but it’s good and it’s hearty. You won’t walk away feeling light, consider yourself warned!
Price: €17.95

We obviously couldn’t leave without trying a “little” dessert, and our choice fell on the Hot Fudge Brownie (fortunately, we ordered one for two!). When the waitress brought us “the monster,” I thought it was a joke, but no…
I want to be honest with you, even between two people, one of whom is a big eater, we couldn’t finish it, but we did our best…
Hard Rock Café Paris 14 boulevard Montmartre - 75009 Paris Open every day from 11:45 AM to 11:45 PM
