Try Kitchenmusic, a fun and rhythmic way to cook!

It was during the Golden Blog Awards evening at the City Hall last November that I discovered the concept by Abdel Alaoui, a chef on France 5.

His idea: blend the pleasure of cooking with the pleasure of listening to a great track, mix them both together, and get a unique and gourmet blend, Kitchen Music.

Kitchenmusic.com setup with cooking selection screen and urban-style decorations.

On the agenda, a website http://www.lakitchenmusic.com, which offers a hundred recipes paired with a piece of music, to be selected based on a culinary or musical theme, a free iPhone app to download, and a Facebook page that keeps you updated on the latest events.

As a quick example, which doubles as a great tip, lakitchenmusic is also partnering with parties all over France, and tonight, Saturday, December 17th, you should be at the Bistrot St So in Lille to enjoy the live performance!

Also note that two other parties are planned for early 2012 in Paris and Bordeaux. I will try to keep you informed.
