Here is one of my favorite religious holidays of the year. Because yes, I love tradition, during this Easter period, the egg hunts—which are organized differently depending on the country: in France and Belgium, the church bells bring the Easter eggs, while in Germany and Austria, it is the rabbits that bring the eggs. As for the little English children, they go from house to house looking for the eggs themselves.
I loved it when I was little and, strangely enough, it’s a childish love (I have others!) that stayed with me and of which I am proud (no, no, I assure you I’m not ashamed!).

You will therefore understand my joy every year to put together this special Easter Tips article for you, once again with a beautiful chocolate selection as a bonus, as well as a super giveaway at the end of the article.

The Egg Hunt at the Montmartre Museum

This year again, the Montmartre Museum will welcome children from 2 to 12 years old for a grand egg hunt in the Renoir Gardens.
Their mission? Find 5 eggs of different colors hidden among the flowers, trees, and shrubs. Starting at 11:30 a.m., once the bells have rung, children will be able to roam and discover the different gardens of the Museum in search of the precious Easter eggs.
At the end of their expedition and once the 5 eggs have been gathered, the hunters will receive chocolate treats.
The pro-tip: the hunt is free for children under 10, and for others, it is included in the Museum’s entrance ticket.

Amateur Chocolate Mousse Contest
After the Mousse Bar at the last Chocolate Fair, Patrice Chapon is organizing the Amateur Chocolate Mousse Contest on April 1st, at the Town Hall of the 7th arrondissement of Paris.
The event is not necessarily linked to Easter, but I think it fits well in my selection of chocolate tips.

A competition where sweet and pastry enthusiasts will compete before a jury composed of great gastronomy professionals as well as media personalities and will be evaluated on criteria defined around texture, flavors, consistency…
At the end of the latter, 3 finalists will win the title of “Best Amateur Chocolate Mousse in France” as well as chocolate gifts!
The pro-tip: for the occasion, Chapon is offering you a small chocolate gift in the giveaway at the end of the article!
