My secret lunch at 5 Codet

Right now, I’ve developed a real passion for lunches in Parisian hotels. I had already reviewed these establishments in terms of their bars and sampled their delicious cocktails. Now, I’m discovering their dining tables, and I am not disappointed!

I therefore went to test the secret terrace of the Hôtel Le 5 Codet at the very beginning of this autumn, and I had the extraordinary luck of being able to eat outside, thanks to the mild weather we’ve been having lately.

Red berry tart, vanilla ice cream and espresso on an outdoor table at 5 Codet.

The restaurant decor is muffled and cozy, and the terrace/patio really gives you the feeling of being a privileged guest, sheltered in the cocoon that this inner courtyard forms.

The service is impeccable and attentive (you can clearly feel that you are in a high-standard establishment), and behind the stove, chef Ricardo Lucio unearths seasonal products (yes, I ate porcini mushrooms again, but what can you do, I love them!) and whips up a refined and creative cuisine.
