I feel like it’s been an eternity since I last posted a short brunch article on the blog.
Yet, it’s not for lack of eating brunch, but rather a lack of time to write these quick posts where I share my opinion on places tested and approved (or not) by my brunch squad.
A few weeks ago, we tested Helmut Newcake, a temple of gluten-free pastry.
I must admit that when choosing this place, I wasn’t so much drawn by the gluten-free aspect of this boutique and tea room near the Canal Saint-Martin, but rather by the nice and friendly decor of this former loft.
Well, let me tell you, this 100% gluten-free landmark remains super tasty, even if you’re not a fan of that sort of thing. Personally, if someone hadn’t told me, I definitely wouldn’t have noticed the difference. For me, the only important criterion is that it ultimately tastes good, and that was certainly the case!
In conclusion, I think it’s a very pleasant place to meet up for Sunday brunch.
Helmut Newcake 36, rue Bichat 75010 Paris Brunch at €24 on Sundays only from 12 PM to 3 PM, by reservation only
