Behind the name of this restaurant, inspired by a TV show character, hides a friendly team of thirty-somethings led by Rémy Halgrain.

The idea was to create a fun and quirky setting inspired by the TV series Malcolm, which inspired the name of the place, located in the Batignolles neighborhood in the 17th arrondissement of Paris.

In the end, the restaurant has 3 rooms with 3 different atmospheres, including 1 room reserved for groups (which is ideal for a birthday or other event). Called “The Bedroom”, this room feels like a wooden cabin.

The main room is very pop-modern and features a multicolored pattern, while the third looks like a country house backyard.

The food is homemade and prepared on-site using fresh ingredients.

The brunch (€25): part of it is buffet-style (hot drinks, fruit juices, pastries, desserts, fromage blanc, cereals, salads, cheeses, deli meats), which is all-you-can-eat + 1 dish from the menu to choose from (burger, bagel, Eggs Benedict, or scrambled eggs).

For my part, I enjoyed succulent Eggs Benedict with asparagus (which I’ve been a fan of since my trip to Montreal). Cathy, for her part, tried the Dewey burger with bacon, which was also very successful, according to her.
