Brunching at Les Bonnes Soeurs

This small, highly sought-after spot, just a stone’s throw from the Place des Vosges, offers a cozy and modern setting in the heart of the Marais. The establishment is a very friendly, small space that fills up quickly, so there isn’t much room and it can get a little noisy. It’s better to know this beforehand so you’re not surprised.

As for the food, all recipes are homemade with fresh seasonal produce, which is greatly appreciated. But for our part, it was for the weekend brunch that we went to test this spot on a Saturday lunch.

On Saturdays, the restaurant offers a brunch set menu for €24 or à la carte, featuring burgers, bagels, club sandwiches, eggs, salads, pancakes, and even homemade pastries.

And for those who don’t want to brunch on Saturday, it is also possible to order from the weekly menu (be careful, though, as this is not the case on Sundays, when only brunch is served, if I understood correctly).

So, to spice things up (and also to test different things), I chose the brunch set menu for €24, which included:

  • a fresh squeezed fruit juice (a real freshly squeezed orange juice is very enjoyable)
  • a hot drink (coffee for me that day, I needed to wake up!)
  • eggs benedict with bacon (+ €4 extra compared to the set menu) served with homemade fries and a salad
  • for dessert, I opted for the apple crumble
  • as a side, there was also a small basket with bread, brioche, a chocolate pastry, jam, and Nutella

My favorite photographer opted for an à la carte brunch with:

  • a fresh fruit juice (€5.50)
  • a breaded goat cheese salad with honey, almonds, bresaola, and tomatoes (€16)
  • a tea

And actually, with what was included in my brunch, it was more than enough for two…

The tip: the lunch set menus from Monday to Friday: main dish €13 / starter + main or main + dessert €16 / starter + main + dessert €20

My advice: the restaurant was full by 12:20 PM on a Saturday, so I think you absolutely must arrive early to brunch on the weekend because they don’t take reservations!

Thanks to Les Bonnes Sœurs for this gourmet invitation.
