I am very proud to tell you today about a brunch that I had been wanting to discover for some time now, so that I could write an article about it before it spread all over the web. Unfortunately, I was beaten to it by Do It In Paris, who spoke about it recently.
Since then, the place is fully booked every Sunday for brunch, but at the same time, it is only fair given the quality of the food.
However, regarding the photos, please forgive the poor quality, but unfortunately, I had forgotten my camera that day, so it is thanks to my Lumia that you still have a few illustrations. No, because I understood well that you came here to let me make you hungry….
Well, enough chatting, let’s move on to the brunch at the Colorova pastry shop.
First, what attracted me the most was the place, with its contemporary design, but which I also felt met my search for a cozy atmosphere, which is essential in my opinion for a good brunching experience.
And then, no disappointment on the plate; on the contrary, it was perhaps even better than I expected. It is certainly not the most filling brunch in my selection, but quality takes precedence over quantity here. However, neither my friend nor I were still hungry when leaving the table, so…
The pastries are already super good (well, obviously, we are in a pastry shop after all!) and the savory dishes are very original. I particularly recommend their homemade chocolate spread, which my fellow bruncher and I—to put it bluntly—”devoured” because it was so good (we even finished it with a teaspoon, that’s how addicted we were).
In short, an address that I cannot recommend enough, but really, you must book, and well in advance too (the day before might not work).
