Just like last year, the Place des Abesses in Montmartre will take on a Breton festive atmosphere for the weekend of January 26 and 27, 2013.
The Côtes d’Armor region is arriving in the 18th arrondissement and inviting you to discover its flavors and craftsmanship in a festive setting (sea shanties, street singers, fish auctions…).
It’s the perfect opportunity for Parisians to taste culinary specialties from the Côtes d’Armor: scallops, oysters, Breton beers, crêpes, and galettes…
This festival will be accompanied by the scallop festival and the Saint Vincent festival, the patron saint of winemakers, which will take place around the Saint Pierre de Montmartre church. The entire Butte Montmartre will be in full celebration mode!
A Côtes-d’Armor village will feature producer stalls (oysters, scallops, Breton cakes, crêpes, cider, etc.), as well as booths for about a dozen tourist offices from the department’s most beautiful towns.
Visitors will be able to explore, via numerous stalls, a showcase that is at once warm, gourmet, and dynamic of the department.
On the program: reenactment of a fish auction, tastings, entertainment, parades, sea shanties and street songs,…
