It’s been a little while since I last talked about brunch on the blog, so I’m going to try to make up for that by sharing a few new spots I’ve tested in Paris over the last few years, which I hope will give you some ideas for this summer. There’s a good mix of addresses, including two with Mercure hotel terraces, which is always nice for enjoying the mild temperatures (assuming it’s not a heatwave, of course…).

A brunch with your feet in the grass at Le Jardin
This lush green bubble is hidden away in the 15th arrondissement of Paris, not far from the Eiffel Tower. It’s the perfect spot for a countryside-style brunch, without ever leaving Paris! This little slice of paradise is actually part of the Mercure Tour Eiffel Hotel, but you really have to go inside the building (to use the restrooms, for example) to realize it. Otherwise, you’d swear you were in a garden at a friend’s place in the countryside…
On the menu for this brunch: delicious local and seasonal products, sourced from producers in the Paris region. My favorite photographer and I really appreciated the variety of this brunch; I think it satisfies everyone because there’s something for every taste! Part of the brunch is offered as a buffet inside, and outside there are a few hot dishes prepared “barbecue style.”
At the back of the garden, there’s also a small area to play pétanque and a foosball table (which some people hogged for quite a while…), which makes it easy to pass the time pleasantly—so much so that I think we ended up finishing our brunch around 4 p.m. because we were so comfortable (and clearly didn’t want to leave). For me, it’s the ideal address for a brunch with friends or family in the sun. That day, it was a brunch with the Parisian blogger family, and it was truly an unforgettable moment!

Tested in 2018. Thanks to Au Jardin and Aglaé for this invitation.

Brunching on the terrace of the Mercure Paris Montmartre
Once again (pure coincidence), I’m suggesting the brunch at a Mercure hotel, but this time at the foot of the Montmartre district: the Mercure Paris Montmartre Sacré-Coeur Hotel. I wasn’t familiar with this hotel, but I found it quite nice. To reach the brunch area, you have to go up to the 1st floor to the hotel’s breakfast room, which offers some nice corners with quite different atmospheres and, above all, a lovely hidden terrace, sheltered from prying eyes, which even has its own little urban vegetable garden!
On the menu for this brunch: a well-stocked buffet (all-you-can-eat) served inside, with pastries, fruit, cold cuts, cheeses, salmon, pancakes, cakes… I had a great time with my friend Julie, and even though the weather was a bit grey, we really enjoyed the hotel’s pleasant terrace.
The great plus for the summer: the beautiful sunny terrace for nice days.

Brunching on the rooftop of Maison Blanche (Closed)
Maison Blanche is a place I’ve mentioned several times on the blog, notably because the venue has two magnificent terraces for sunny days. This Parisian institution, located in the heart of the Golden Triangle, is also right next to the Théâtre des Champs‐Elysées, a cultural landmark that I really enjoy.
Since last year, the establishment has been offering a Sunday brunch called Maison Brunch. On the menu: a gourmet brunch served on grandma-style dinnerware, consisting of a hot drink, freshly squeezed fruit juice, an assortment of breads and pastries, a main dish, and a dessert, all accompanied by a glass of champagne, a mimosa for brunch purists, or a detox juice for the more sensible! As for the dishes, Chef Fabrice Giraud invites you to discover his salmon eggs Benedict, the M. Burger and its homemade fries, or his truffle Maison Blanche croque. On the sweet side, I recommend the lemon meringue tart, which is famous.

Thanks to Maison Blanche and Pascal from Luxsure for this invitation to this brunch in Paris among influencers!
