This address is one of our recent favorites, shared with my favorite photographer! Opened in 2018, this bistronomic restaurant is located at the foot of Montmartre, on Rue Trudaine, in the 9th arrondissement of Paris.
We really enjoyed the warm atmosphere of the place, with its brick wall and central bar, a staple element of Parisian bistros. The service is adorable, and I highly recommend following the recommendations of the staff, who know the menu perfectly.

In the kitchen, we find chef Julien Kerwien, who offers perfectly mastered cuisine with charcoal-grilled dishes.
The menu is extremely concise and changes regularly with the seasons (4 starters, 4 main courses, 4 desserts), which is obviously a very good sign.
Must-try:
- As a starter, I cannot recommend enough that you let yourself be tempted by the Pig’s trotters Gyoza (€12). Yes, I know, at first glance it might not sound like much, but trying them means being won over, I assure you!

- Among the main courses, the organic white asparagus with Kintoa pork belly and radicchio (€24) was a very nice surprise!

- Another interesting main course option is the farmhouse poultry ballotine, candied Charlotte potatoes, black garlic, and cider reduction (€25).

Where the restaurant earns major points is that with this level of quality on the plate, desserts are often where bistros falter by not living up to the start of the meal. Here, that was absolutely not the case, and the desserts were just as good as what we had tasted previously. And they were particularly light, which is always nice at the end of a meal.
- We tested the Pavlova with its basil cream and lemon sorbet (€10), as well as the Mojito Baba with its rum cream (€10).

- On the chalkboard against the wall, there is a lovely selection of wines at relatively affordable prices (wines by the glass between €4 and €6).
The tip: lunch set menus with starter + main or main + dessert for €18 / starter + main + dessert for €22

The extra touch: the very pleasant terrace, covered (or not) in front of the restaurant, where I suggest you go to have a coffee for example, even if you ate inside, as we did that day!
