I love a beautiful dining experience, that’s a fact. Over the last 10 years, I’ve frequented some fine Parisian addresses, such as Joël Robuchon, Hélène Darroze, the Carré des Feuillants (where Jérémie Tourdjman actually began his professional career), but also in Lyon with Christian Tetedoie and Mathieu Viannay, or even in Valence at Anne-Sophie Pic… Because I love to eat, I love to be made to dream and travel through a dish, a pairing of flavors, colors—in short, I love the art of fine dining!
However, it is not always an art accessible to every budget, but it’s not as unreachable as you might think… Ultimately, instead of 10 mediocre outings to McDonald’s or elsewhere, we could all trade those 10 excursions, which are certainly not essential, for one lovely outing from time to time in a quality establishment, which will surely become unforgettable… That may be a wishful thought for 2015, but in any case, it is a good resolution that I wanted to propose to your palate…

All this to introduce my invitation to discover the restaurant of the young and talented chef Jérémie Tourdjman, recently opened. This new Parisian spot, with its contemporary, chic, and elegant style, offers, in a very bright dining room, daring and refined cuisine with harmonious pairings. Jérémie Tourdjman draws his inspiration from his travels and a filial transmission of this love for cooking, which is truly evident on the plate.
The starters:

The main courses:

On the menu, classic dishes revisited and the Chef’s creations with special attention paid to selecting suppliers and cooking with the seasons (a trend that is increasingly developing in restaurants and one that we can only applaud).
Not to be missed:
- The rockfish soup, bouillabaisse-style, is a true gastronomic journey into the heart of the calanques (special mention for the small sauce, half-mayonnaise, half-rouille, that accompanies it).

- The delicious Brie de Meaux, truffled with care by the house. To die for, really!

- And especially my personal favorite, the house’s magnificent millefeuille. It is a delight of lightness and crunch that the chef adapts according to the seasons; during our visit, the puff pastry was filled with caramel. Just looking at the photo, I’m sure you’re already salivating…

Regarding wines, the selection comes from all corners of France, and the restaurant offers a list where small producers and major labels rub shoulders. But what’s most appreciated is the extensive knowledge (and patience) of the establishment’s fantastic sommelier, who will know perfectly how to guide you according to your desires, your dishes, and your oenological preferences.
