Japanese street food at Ramen Bowl (closed)

As you know, I am quite (very) a fan of Japanese gastronomy and I have already written several articles on the subject, revealing some of my favorite Parisian addresses.

And within this Japanese gastronomy, I must say that I am quite picky regarding ramen (this noodle soup that has been a long-standing culture in Japan). Indeed, even if you can find many in Paris, few are satisfying. I had already told you about those from Hakata Choten, of which I am a fan, and today I have a new great address to reveal to you on the subject: Ramen Bowl.

First of all, a quick reminder about the principle of ramen: it is a large bowl with broth, noodles, meat or fish, vegetables, and an egg, and seasoning (miso, soy sauce, etc.) varying according to the personality of the chefs and restaurants.

It is also and above all in Japan an express dish that is often eaten on the street quickly in street food mode, which is why the walls of the place have been decorated with graffiti by street artist Oji.

The restaurant offers in particular 10 ramen recipes created by the Japanese chef from Tokyo, Hiroki Masaki.

To try:

  • The Japanese beef tataki (wagyu) with tangy yuzu sauce (€13.80) is absolutely delicious, very well seasoned, and melts in your mouth.

Slices of rare Japanese beef (tataki?) on a bed of greens with sauce.

  • I discovered ramen without broth with the Shiru Nashi Ramen (€12), fresh noodles coated in a fine oyster sauce – possible sides: spicy minced chicken and its various vegetables, mizuna, seaweed and seaweed matchsticks, fried onions, memna (bamboo shoot). When it is very hot (which is not really the case anymore…) it allows you to eat ramen without leaving the restaurant sweating! And what’s more, it is absolutely delicious!

  • The classic ramen with clear chicken broth (because we know the importance of the broth in ramen) either with chicken or with pork are also obviously to be tasted (between €11 and €15).

In terms of drinks, we tested a fun thing with Ramune, a Japanese lemonade whose bottle is very strange since it has a small marble in its upper part. Definitely worth a try!

  • For dessert, the restaurant offers sakura mochis with black sesame ice cream (€6.80) or even iced mochis (€3.90).

Thanks to Ramen Bowl for this invitation and for these delicious ramen.
