L’Atelier artisan crêpier, crepes and cider bar

This lovely crêperie is located in the Mabillon district of Paris in the 6th arrondissement. In addition to a gourmet menu featuring crepes, the brand also offers a nice selection of ciders, which of course I’m very happy about, as I love this drink. It actually just reopened its doors in November 2025 with a completely reimagined identity. L’Atelier has become a true living space designed for every moment of the day. A “home-like” atmosphere where you feel good, focusing on sharing, indulgence, and conviviality. For your information, the brand has locations in several major French cities with 16 restaurants in total (in Paris, in the Paris region, and even in Lyon, Grenoble, Tours, and Cannes, if you’re interested). The Parisian flagship in the 6th arrondissement is the first establishment of the chain to embody this new decor with sage and buckwheat hues, punctuated by notes of chili, saffron, candy, and licorice for an even more joyful identity.

On the plate, you’ll find classic or more original crepes, always with special attention to the selection of products. The other asset of the place is its cider bar, which offers a lovely selection of French producers, as well as international ones, and the house even offers its own cider produced in Normandy (classic or red!). You can also enjoy a selection of cider-based cocktails (priced at €10.50 and €8 during happy hour), which are very nice.

To try:

  • The Roland combining goat cheese, baby spinach, caramelized apples, honey, and walnut kernels (€13.90)
  • The Raymond with egg (from free-range chickens), thick-cut ham, emmental, and mushrooms (€12.90).
  • The Henri with PGI raclette cheese, speck smoked ham, creamed potatoes, onion confit with cider, and pickles (€13.90), which I found perfect for the winter season!
  • The Raoul with reblochon cheese, smoked bacon, creamed potatoes, and fried onions (€14.90)
  • For dessert, we tried the classic with butter, sugar, and lemon juice (€5.90), the Josette with hazelnut spread, fresh banana, and artisan vanilla ice cream (€9.50), and the Yvette with homemade salted butter caramel, caramelized apples, and homemade whipped cream (€8.90).
  • As for ciders, we were spoiled for choice (bottled, draft, pitcher, by the glass…) and we wanted to test the artisan cider produced by the house (€9 for a 50cl pitcher).

The tip: open all day, the place allows you to enjoy a crepe whenever you feel like it!

Galette prices: between €9.50 and €15.90 / traditional set menus at €16.90 and Exception at €21.90
