Following my trip to Quebec a few years ago, I felt a bit nostalgic for Montreal brunches, so I decided to try and rediscover the charm of a North American brunch in Paris.
And I think I can safely say I succeeded with the brunch at Ellis Island Café, a small American-style restaurant hidden away in the Saint-Germain-des-Prés district.
To put it simply, it was good, very hearty (I couldn’t finish it all), and quite affordable (expect to pay between €16.90 and €21.90 for the brunch), but rather than a long speech, nothing beats a few photos to make your mouth water.
Since there were three of us and the Ellis Island Café offers 3 different brunches (the Groucho, the Chico, and the Harpo), we tried them all!
